COMMUNITY PROGRAMS TO MARSHFIELD FAIR

MARSHFIELD—Sheriff’s Department employee Kerri Yetman creates a photo ID for a Plymouth County elder during Senior Day at the Marshfield Fair 2007. The department created 100 IDs for seniors that day. On Kid’s Day, PCSD debuted its new iris scanning technology as a part of The Child Project. The Child Project stores iris data of children and adults into a national database to “enable law enforcement and social service agencies throughout the country to locate and positively identify missing children and adults with iris biometric recognition technology.” Reserve deputies were also on hand during the Fair to create fingerprint IDs for children.
