PCSD JOINS ANTI-HATE EFFORT
On June 27th, members of the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department joined other local agencies at the Brockton Rox baseball game to take a stand against hate and domestic violence. PCSD, along with the office of District Attorney Tim Cruz, Brockton Mayor Tim Harrington, The White Ribbon Campaign, and all South Shore No Place for Hate community groups, led the several thousand in attendance in a pledge to stop hate and violence against women.
Plymouth County Sheriff Joseph D. McDonald Jr. addresses the crowd at the Rox game. By taking the pledge, he said, Plymouth County is headed down a road to a better place together.
The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard was on the field for the National Anthem.
