CHURCH SERVICES:

 

Spanish Services: Protestant Church meets twice a week, once for trial inmates and once for sentenced inmates. The Catholic Church meets every first and third Monday.

 

English Services: The Catholic and Protestant Churches each meet twice a week, once for trial inmates and once for sentenced inmates.

 

RELIGIOUS STUDIES:

 

Muslim Studies: Muslim studies meet once a week for study and once a week for Jumnah (prayer service).

 

Jehovah Witness Studies: Jehovah Witness study groups meet twice a week in English, once for trial inmates and once for sentenced inmates. Then once a week in Portuguese. They study the beliefs of the New World Translation of the Bible.

 

Catholic Studies: Catholic studies meet twice a week and study the beliefs of Catholicism and the Bible. The Rosary class meets twice a week. Confirmation classes are held once a week.

 

Jewish Studies: The Jewish study group meets once a week. They study the Old Testament portion of the Bible and how the law applies to the lives of the Jewish people.

 

Protestant Studies: Protestant studies meet five times a week to study the Bible and apply the principles of the Bible in daily living.

 

Prison Fellowship Studies: Prison Fellowship Bible classes meet once a week to study the Bible to see how it affects them personally.

 

Bible Studies: A Pentecostal denomination’s study of the Bible meets once a week.

 

Religious Mentor Program: This programs meets twice a week and teaches reintegration skills learned from a biblical perspective. Inmates must have six months or less to their release to participate.
