What is Smart911?
Smart911 is an emergency notification system that your local Police or Fire officials may use to send out urgent public safety information they feel is important to your community. This free program supports FEMA’s National Preparedness Goal to prepare communities for all types of disasters and emergencies.
If I signed up in the past for CodeRED, do I need to sign up for Smart911?
Yes. We have enhanced our notification system and moved from CodeRED to Smart911. Smart911is powered by Rave Mobile Safety (a Motorola Solutions Company).

How can I receive these notifications?
Create a profile on Smart911 using your email, landline, or cellphone number. You will receive these urgent alerts based on your residential address.

All emergency notifications sent through Smart911 will appear on your caller ID as 833-533-6163
Can I OPT out of these notifications once I have signed up?
Yes, you can either sign into the account you have created and delete yourself, or you may contact us at 508-830-6200 for assistance.
